I knew who you were back in high school, but I never talked to you. I really wish I did, you seem like an awesome person, with a great attitude about life. I guess you really can't judge books by their covers.

I’m debating if I should take this as a compliment or get mad. Right now, getting mad is winning by a long shot. First off, your anon, so you don’t have the balls to actually TALK to me about this. Secondly, kind of rude you judged me in the first place. Don’t worry though, I got it a lot, already over it. But overall, what’s really bothering me is that you didn’t ever get to know me for who I was, and almost no one did in high school. Maybe if someone actually tried to, everyone could have seen me for me. And not just as: “Oh, that chick in the corner with the black boots and skinny jeans.”

But thanks. I do work hard and I’m glad someone from high school actually notices I’m pretty normal, not fucked up, and strive to succeed. It’s a bit heartwarming that I’ve been able to sway people’s opinions about me without ever talking to them. 89.9% for effort. Have a nice night.
